Making Cards Is Fun
|

First of All - you need to gather a few supplies. We have a Fabulous
selection of basic supplies but, there are products that you might have at
home that you can use when you first start. YOU Don't have to be crafty or
creative to make cards - It's Easy and Fun. I started making cards about three
years ago. My daughter had some serious health issues and I had a newborn baby
boy - I was an emotional wreck. My special friend, Auntie Sugars , came to
visit and brought all of her cardmaking supplies along with her. She was
determined that card making would lift my spirits and she was correct! I
became hooked with the first card she helped me create. I love the special
time I take to create a card for someone, I think about that person, the event
they are experiencing and I mesh this with the products I have and before you
know it - I have a one of a kind card, for a special someone Made By Me. (
Guess What? They now save the cards that I make them or have them on display
the entire year.) That Make Me Feel Fantastic!

Getting Started Supplies
-Cutting Mat,
-Cutting Knife ( exacto)
-Pencil
-Ruler
-Black Dye Ink Pad and Versafine
-An Assortment of Ink Pads,or Felt Pens or
Chalks
-Double sided tape, or glue stick,
-Double sided foam tape
-Pair of decorative scissors
-Pair of Scissor Snips ( for detail cutouts)
-A Method to Clean your Stamps
-Basic White and Vanilla 80Ib cardstock,
Glossy Cardstock
-Colored Card Stock -( pick your favorite
colors)
-One bottle of Stickles - to add some Instant
Glam to your cards
-Rubber Stamps - Chose an image that you love
to begin with - My first rubber stamp was a cherub (- I still love it 300
stamps later),
- Chose a verse or a set of verses (I like the
verse sets - because you have a nice variety of greetings for the special
occassions in life you want to acknowlege).

These are the supplies that I recommend to get started and the remainder
of your supplies you add to your collection is all yours for you to develop
your creativity and personal flair in your paper crafts. We carry an abundance
of embellishments, speciality papers, glitter, ribbon, die cuts, stickers
...etc... that add flare and spark to your projects -
